Petr Ostrouchov (1972) graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague in 1999 and from the Faculty of Film and Television of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in 2003. He joined Vyskočil, Krošlák a partneři s.r.o., advokátní kancelář in 2000; since 2007 he has been a partner of the law firm. He concentrates on intellectual property and, in particular, on copyright and related rights, on collective administration of rights, entertainment law, film and music business, protection of personality rights and legal aspects of media and advertising. He has cooperated with legislative authorities e.g. on Audiovisual Code. He has been teaching copyright since 2002 at the Faculty of Film and Television and the Faculty of Music and Dance of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Petr Ostrouchov is a board member of Czech Film and Television Academy, a member of European Film Academy and Slovak Film and Television Academy, he is also a composer of film music (Želary, Občanský průkaz, Zahradnictví, Klauni etc., he holds seven nominations for Czech Lion Award for the best score), a music producer (Vladimír Mišík, Lenka Dusilová, Iva Bittová etc.), and also runs alternative music label Animal Music.
