Michaela Fuchsová (1967) graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague. In 1991 she completed law studies in France (Master of the private law at the University of Reims) and in 1993 she obtained a diploma D.E.A. in international private law from the Faculty of Law Paris II. In 2016 she defended her thesis at the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague and obtained a doctoral degree – Ph.D. She has been a General Secretary of the Czech-French Chamber of Commerce. She has been working as a lawyer since 1991, initially in Paris (1991) and then in Prague for a local office of an important French law firm (1992–1996). She became partner of AKVK during the first year of its existence. Michaela concentrates on corporate law, including business restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and on all aspects of contract law (particular or framework and complex agreements, general terms and conditions) in a wide field of industries (environmental, international and domestic transport, freight forwarding, commercial real estates). She also provides advice in labour law. She is a mediator registered at the Ministry of Justice.
